I've started making my own almond milk, and after four batches, have already grown weary of straining through cheesecloth (yes, I grown weary rather easily). I don't like how the almond meal clumps between the layers of cheesecloth and is hard to get out (I dry the meal to make, in theory, breakfast bars, though so far I only have a growing bag of almond meal in my pantry).
So, is there an easier way? Are mesh strainers fine enough? Does anyone have a nut bag and does that work well? Other ideas?
