Question: Is there a way to monetise excess internet bandwidth?
I have a monthly 1000GB NBN plan (100/40 Mbps up/down) but my housemate and I use a maximum 80GB a month. I'm paying $99/month for this, and I don't see the value of downgrading to say a $69 plan which gives 500GB at the basic 12/1 speed.
One option is to ask others on my floor if they want to share the cost, what other ways can I make money / subsidise this? I also have a spare smartphone with which I could maybe run apps?
