Title: Dropped my wife's tablet - funny lines

Bad night.  Dropped DW's tablet, and there is still a picture, but it has these weird bright lines outlining things in the picture.  Not lines across the screen, just outlining faces and objects.  Turning it off now, hoping it magically heals by the time she wakes up in the morning!  Any suggestions?

Which tablet?  That effect is not one I'm familiar with, but I'm guessing you'll need a new screen.

Prayers your way ^ thats a bummer. Hopefully it will be fine but not something a DIY could fix if its doing that IMHO.
