2000 Honda Accord bought new.  Now has 282k miles and needs a front seal.

2005 Toyota Tacoma bought used in 2010 with 105k miles.  Now has 155k miles with no problems.

We will probably end up replacing the Accord this year, but will also buy new because all the used cars I have bought have been lemons (probably says more about my buying ability than anything else...).

2009 Toyota Matrix bought new for $17k cash, has 135 k miles on it. I've actually toyed with the idea of getting a new car but they stopped making it and so far I can't find anything else that meets those specifications (great gas mileage for my one-person daily driving, great cargo space to carry my drum set.)  All the other little hatchbacks out now have less cargo space or worse gas mileage.  So I think I'll just drive my car for a few more years until something better comes out.

I bought my car on a great sale, nothing added to it, stick shift.  Although I know everyone talks about 1-2 year old cars being a better deal, I usually find they've had so many unnecessary options added to them that they are not a better deal than a brand new inexpensive car on a good sale.

We would like another car and get rid of this one.  But the camry just goes and goes...

2014 Mazda5, purchased new with plans to drive forever. Currently at 30k miles. Could pay it off, but at 2.9% it isn't a priority. This is "my car" and the one we use for all family outings, vacations, etc. Plan to drive it forever.

2008 Nissan Frontier with 155k miles. I purchased new before marrying my husband, but he's the one who drives it now. Will keep until it has a catastrophic failure that's too expensive to fix.

My only car is a 2008 Jaguar S type (I embrace the weakness in my character that demands luxury).  I bought it used in 2010 for around 30K with just under 10K miles on it.  It has just under 50K miles on it; should get there in January.  I understood when I bought it that it was not transportation but a hobby, but I’m ready to move on.  I’m thinking Tesla in 2018.  You can punch me, just not in the face (I have to keep up appearances and a black eye will raise questions I’d rather not answer).

2004 vw jetta tdi diesel. Bought new at the time. Currently has 237k miles on it. It's starting the rust a bit but it drives like a top! Absolutely perfect and never had any real issue with it.

Thomas Stanley, author of the Millionaire Next Door, states that the average millionaire bought a 3-5 year old car worth $20-30k and then they drove it forever. Just seeing what other current/future millionaires are driving out there.

Are you me? OK mine's a 2001 extra cab with a shell I bought used in 2007 as my FIRE truck for camping road trips. Cost $4k and fairly low mileage - under 50k then.and around 125k now. Don't drive it much around town.due to terrible gas mileage and will likely sell it soon.

Joining the Ranger club: 2007 XLT. 
I debate whether it is better to drive it into the ground or get an electric vehicle (both sides of the argument have good points and I'm left in the same spot--unsure).  In the meantime, to help reduce my carbon footprint and money spent on gas and repairs, I am planning on purchasing an electric motorcycle which I will use as my daily driver during the warm months.

My sister has a 2000 Frontier with close to 200k miles on.that runs great so now we are completion to see who's truck lasts the longest.

I need to find a challenge buddy--this seems awesome!  I am uber competitive so I feel if I jumped in on a challenge like this the decision of keeping my truck or not would be made for me.

I sold my '99 Tacoma a couple of years ago as it was approaching 283k.  The bar has been set. ;)

2010 Toyota Prius, not sure what it cost, my dad bought it for me new when I was in college.  It's got about 85,000 miles on it and I plan on driving it until it dies, I love my little car, plus it's paid off. 

I also have a 2002 Toyota Solara convertible I drive in the summer, that was a gift from my mom in July, it has around 40,000 miles on it.  It's a lot of fun to drive but gets about half the mileage of my Prius.  Not very mustachian of me, I know.

I replaced my 2001 Ford Escape this year with a used 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback (paid cash). It gets solid gas mileage and I can easily haul my bike on a hitch rack, my dog crate, and a few friends. Yesterday I took a friend on an IKEA/Costco run and she was impressed with how much it could hold. Planning to keep this car at least as long as I kept the last one (15+ years).

2006 Pontiac Vibe 5spd

Bought it on ebay  for $2,450.  Had 106,000 miles, shipped down from Vermont for $735, so for just under $3,200, I got a re-badged Toyota Matrix.  I love this car.
