salary vs 1099
« on: February 03, 2020, 07:11:17 PM »
I am in the beginning stages of finding a new job.  I am at the point in life that I would like to work less hours instead of more money.  I am currently interviewing for a full time position in the $145k range, salary.  The job is full time with the company, but subbed out to clients.  If the negotiations go this way, what is a good hourly ask?  With a standard work week, 145 works out to about $70/hr.  How much is typical to ask for if 1099?  Double?  double and a half?  50% more?

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
