Title: Does the primer southwest business card and primer southwest personal card

Count as the same bonus or can I get 100,000 by applying to both?

Not sure exactly, but I've gotten the Southwest Rapid Rewards premier and have already gotten the bonus from it, and am now going for the Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus, then I plan on manufacturing $6,000 in spending to get the companion pass

For some reason, at home I could not apply to the plus card so I thought it was not working anymore.  Now that I found out, at work, that I can do both, I'll just do those.

I haven't gotten the points from the 2nd card yet so I'm not 100% sure it'll work, but I'm hopeful.

Sure but I just got my card, could be up to 3 months before I know for sure

Also, I believe to get the companion pass, you need to get 110,000 points in 1 calendar year, and not all points count towards this, the 50k bonuses do count.

Yes, the business card points count separately.

You should really reach the 110k early in the year to get the most benefit.

My current plan is to apply for both in November and hopefully earn both bonuses (and do most spending) in early 2015.  According to what I've read, that will give me almost 2 years with the Companion Pass. It may take me until March though to hit the total spending.

Still need to look into manufactured spending to see if it's worth the trouble...
