Title: Decent, Inexpensive Car Insurance in NY?
Post by: CestMoi on March 03, 2016, 09:48:57 AM
I just bought a new used car, a 2012 Honda Civic with a wonderful 17k miles on it. Car insurance prices in NY tend to be high. I have excellent credit, an excellent driving record, and haven't been involved in any fender benders or such in over twenty years.

For an example, I was quoted $73 per month for just liability insurance (100k/300k/50k), with no comprehensive or collision. This quote included my discounts for annual low mileage, ABS, good driving record, vehicle safety.

I haven't decided on levels of coverage yet, but right now I need suggestions for decent, reasonably-priced car insurance. Thanks.

$73 doesn't seem unreasonable (876 annual) for NY. Can you pay in full? That usually carries a discount as well.
