just curious if anyone out there knows of a small reliable kitchen scale to be used for weighing out coffee?
I have a Salter, that works reasonably well, but I can no longer find the same model and I want to give one as a gift.
The scale needs to read accurately to the nearest gram at the low range (15 - 100 g) and plus or minus 10 g at the heavier end (1000 - 2000g); thus weighing out coffee and water.
On top of that, I'd like the scale to be rather small because the kitchen it will go in is full.
I have searched through Amazon for a while, and all the scales I've looked at either have a small number of complaints about accuracy (who knows when to trust amazon reviews) or some other weird quirk.
