Bike Trailer Scrapes the Ground
« on: November 12, 2013, 02:04:01 PM »
Okay, so I just bought a bike trailer off Craigslist to haul the kids around.  Problem is, the radius of my bike wheels are small enough that the canvas on the bottom of the trailer scrubs the ground as I ride with the kids in back (at their feet).  Anyone run into this before?  What did you do?

Bigger wheels on the trailer?

Perhaps.  The wheels already seem pretty big, but I guess I'll look into it.

I got a canvas kid hauler trailer and added a 1/4" plywood insert below the canvas on the floor.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
