Amazon $100 gift card...Scam?
« on: December 10, 2015, 08:10:50 AM »
So I got an authentic-looking email this morning offering the Amazon $100 gift card for taking a survey. So a half hour later I'm still answering questions, clicking and clicking...going through pages of answering health questions, political preference questions, clicking on what products I would want or not want...ended up taking a survey for a comparison of car insurances and getting a quote on (not) cheaper car insurance...finally it ended up by trying to get me to apply for credit cards...and when I clicked out of that, it said I had to make a purchase of something...zzzzzzzz...Goodbye. Ex out of here. Boring waste of time, and I could only accumulate 60 of the 100 points that supposedly would get me the Amazon gift card....

What just happened here? I have seen MMMers mention that they have Amazon $100 gift cards...so how did you get them?

May or may not be a scam, but likely even if not, and you could actually get the card, the amount of work and hoops to do so wouldn't make it worth it.

You can get $500 for signing up for a CC... Of course they'll give you $100 for doing so, plus a bunch of survey stuff.

Thanks, ARS. I don't know why I even bothered. Just getting tons of spam email, and "samples" to click onto that are the worst bunch of garbage you ever saw. That's what I get for going online before I had my coffee this morning.  lol

I get my amazon, walmart, paypal gift cards via swagbucks. I do surveys, play games, watch videos, etc.

www.swagbucks.com/refer/stl1976

Depending on how much you pay attention, you can easily get $50-$75/month. There are bonus points for reaching your goal daily, weekly, monthly, etc. Referrals bring points (although I have not tried referring anyone yet except for posting above).
