Title: Cheapest place to buy shipping supplies in the US?
Post by: Aggie1999 on March 18, 2017, 06:39:10 PM
In anticipation of a move this summer I have been ebaying items around my house that I no longer use. It is getting to the point though that I am running low on larger shipping boxes and packing material. I'm in need of boxes larger than the ones USPS offers for free. Also, for the larger items it always seems cheaper to ship Fedex instead of USPS.

Where is a cheap place to purchase boxes and packing material? I cringe at the prices I see Fedex charging for boxes and packing material. I've tried hitting up my local Sam's for the boxes but they seem to just have display boxes. Thanks.

For my ebay selling I buy my poly mailers and this bubble wrap http://amzn.to/2n2fBBQ on Amazon.

I save packing paper, plastic air bags, or peanuts, when I get them from my other amazon purchases, and that is usually enough as I don't use much of any of those.

I almost never buy boxes. I just use USPS free boxes for almost everything. If you have to buy a big box, Lowes actually has them way cheaper than fed ex or UPS.
