Title: Cheap smartphone plans
Post by: Agent88 on July 25, 2013, 09:15:27 AM
Hey all,

I've seen some mighty intriguing cellphone plans out there that I want to get in on -- Republic's plan, now Virgin is getting in on the action with a $30 plan -- but these two both go through the Sprint network. I live in Montana where Sprint is on roaming all the time and generally just has shit coverage. I used to have Sprint when I moved out here but when I got a new phone, I couldn't activate it without driving 8 hours to Idaho to get in an actual Sprint coverage area. Now I have Verizon.

Anyone have an idea about other carriers or different options? I'm checking out the Airvoice stuff now, but am still not 100 percent sure how I'd make that work with a Verizon phone rather than AT&T, like MMM

Thanks!

Start here (https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/share-your-badassity/communications-tech-isps-voip-cell/). You don't have to read the entire thread... just the first seven posts.

If you have any questions after that, just ask.

Page Plus uses Verizon's network and phones. Try using the forum search function or google.
