I might have to go back to Tmobile

I made the switch to Ting from Tmobile a little over a month ago. No problem at first. A couple of small hiccups easily resolved. Now there's a big problem. I discovered I'm unable to receive text messages from my employer. This will cost me more in one day than Ting will save me in a year. Apparently short codes are blocked. Before today I didn't know what a short code was, but that's how my schedulers send alerts. No alert, no extra work, no extra money. Ting customer support said they'll contact Tmobile to sort it out, but it will take 3 days and there's no guarantee it will be fixed.

If someone on here has a quick solution I'd love to hear it. Or later this afternoon I'll be on the phone with Tmobile like a cheating spouse, begging her to take me back.

I would just go back to t-mobile. I don't think ting is worth the trouble.
