cargo bike
« on: June 05, 2018, 02:56:39 AM »
Does anyone have something like this and can tell me if it is worth the money? Would it be too ambitious to not get the electric version?

http://babboecargobike.com/product/babboe-curve-e-cargo-bike/

I saw someone with it and now I want it (lol) but in my defense we are a no-car family with two kids so I do need some fancy ways to transport them. We have a trailer but I am too afraid to use it other than for outings in the forest as it lies low and far behind me and I do not trust the asshole drivers around here. I perceive this as slightly safer.  I do need to have some contact with traffic to get them to school.

Thanks in advance!

I don't have a cargo bike myself, but there are a couple of people in my local bike community that have the Bullitt from www.larryvsharry.com and love it. That one is more of a sport style bike, so neither went for the electric assist, although I live in the Canadian prairies so hills aren't a big concern (wind, on the other hand...). The kids seem to adore riding up front too.
