I have been with my company almost 20 years as the division head in a staffing agency. We were sold a short time ago, and it is not a good fit. My division (under 10 people) are all very interested in moving, but not sure who to reach out to. I've had some traction, and have definitely had interest, however have not found a great fit yet. We need a back office to do payrolling (even though I could supply that ourselves if needed), but the main thing I need is a company backing/financing. I have cold called business brokers but they say that's not what they do and have reached out to recruiters but this seems above them. Any advice on who to reach out to? Also should I be asking for a signing bonus - and if so what percentage of the gross profit margin would that be?
