Colorado Auto Insurance options?

Hi!

Anyone found a good deal on auto insurance in Colorado? I moved here about a year ago and my insurance has doubled from when I lived back east. I currently have full coverage with Geico on a 2006 Scion XB and it comes in at $102/month which is nuts compared to what people pay other places. Any ideas?

our CO insurance rates are insane.  Mostly because people drive like absolute shit, and we have received a few huge hailstorms over the past 5 years.

Geico isn't the cheapest option, but they've treated me very well.  Progressive is also OK, though they didn't cover our bikes very well, had to switch back to Geico.

I just can't believe how high it is. So it's because of the hail storms eh?

I live in Colorado and yes, auto insurance is silly expensive. We have two vehicles and pay around $2,000 a year between the two. One is very mustachian (2007 Honda CRV) and one is not mustachian (2018 Toyota Highlander.)

Check out Root Insurance. I've never filed a claim with them but it is the least expensive insurance I've found. They are in Colorado as well. I pay $800 a year for two vehicles in Texas. Not sure how much higher it would be in Colorado.

Colorado insurance is ridiculous. I research insurance every 6 months when its time to renew my policy and esurance is always the cheapest. I've found you can really reduce the premium by increasing your deductibles - I have mine all set to $2000. With esurance if you download the drive sense app on your phone it tracks your driving record and you get an additional discount based upon how safe it thinks you drive. But, the app is super annoying. If someone cuts you off (happens all the damn time in Denver) and you hit your brakes you get a ding for breaking hard. It says  I am a high risk driver even though I never speed, leave lots of room in front of me, and have never had an accident.

I'm in western Colorado. I use 360 Insurance with a local agent. They only cover CO/WY/MT states. We have 2 very old cars (both driven less than 5000 miles per year) and renters insurance and pay about $750 per year for the whole package.
