Post by: Baylor3217 on March 13, 2013, 11:05:17 PM
Just bought a 2013 f150 fx2 super crew for 28k all in after trade. Msrp is about $44k

Aaa quoted me at about $1200 / year. Sound reasonable?

insurance is pretty difficult to compare b/c everyone's personal history is different and vehicles are different.

ex; My wife and I have a 2012 odyssey and a '99 maxima.  We pay in total about $830 a year for both cars.  Liability only on the older car.

It just depends on too many factors to say.

Around here, that'd be pretty cheap insurance for that vehicle even if you're an old person that doesn't drive anywhere and has all the discounts.  :-)

Completely depends on where you live.

In Vancouver I pay over $1000 for the mandatory third-party liability ALONE, and that's with the 45% discount I get for 10+ years of accident-free driving.
