Can I use CC Travel points for National Park Lodging?
« on: March 14, 2016, 09:16:09 AM »
I'm still pretty new to travel point game, but was wondering if I could use them for lodging at a national park.  I've got around $550 worth of points on 3 different cards, but don't have the card info with me so I though I'd reach out to the forum...

This really depends on what cards/points you have.  If it's a Barclay Arrival Plus World Elite Mastercard, some of your expenses might constitute "travel" and could be redeemable.  If you have a Chase Sapphire card you could try booking through their travel agent.

You really need to at least tell us what cards you have and what expenses you're trying to pay for.

So true! My CapitalOne Venture card has a wonderful thing called a "purchase eraser" so if I use that credit card to buy airline tickets or hotels I can use my points to just erase the travel purchase. Couldn't be easier.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
