Budget software

Are there any good free or inexpensive computer programs to track your budget? I’d like to analyze my spending, see where I’m bleeding money, then button things up. Keep my fat ass on track.

What features do you need?

To me the big difference between budgeting software is collection of data. Mint.com excels at collecting and analyzing spending with minimal effort. Just link your accounts and have transactions automatically synced. This will give you some good big picture insight with minimal effort, but to get more detailed, you have to go through your transactions and check the categorization (and sometimes split transactions into multiple categories).

gnucash is free, I've been using it for about 8 years.  I have a couple issues with it, but it's free.

I use GnuCash. It works very well for tracking finances.

I use Neobudget.com for envelope budgeting, I think they give you 10 "envelopes" and 1 bank account on the free version.
