Brexit?
« on: June 26, 2016, 05:53:37 PM »
I did a search on the above topic and got zero returns.. I thoughts SOMEBODY would be freaked out by the whole thing?

As for me I won't be in the country (US) for 7 weeks so I I reallocated half my "discretionary" bond position into stocks.. I expect a further pullback and on the off chance I can access my 401k from Thailand I might roll the rest of it over then.

Note.. I run between 80/20 Stocks (ETF)/Bonds(ETF)... and 70/30.

I was at 70/30 on Friday and went to roughly 75/25.

Yes it is market timing of sorts, but on the offchance I am caught on the wrong side of the trade I can happily sit at either end of the stock/bond split.

I was hoping someone would start a 6th Brexit thread.

Your wish is granted.  How long now until #7, #8 and (Revolution) #9?

I'm wondering whether the number of Brexit threads will overtake "Delete" threads.

This - the search feature on this forum is incredibly bad.

You could do a two for one with this thread, and change the subject to "Delete"? Or maybe "Delete / Brexit" for good measure.

Actually I was really pleased that everyone was so calm that they weren't worried about the effects of brexit :-P

A real "Regrexit" threat...

Also, my favorite Brexit post from this forum so far, posted a few minutes after confirmation of the vote:

He also thinks his poor situation in life is the results of us being in the EU.

At least he doesn't have to worry about that anymore

LMAO!
