Should I buy your money or your life?
« on: June 08, 2013, 12:40:03 PM »
Is it worth my $12?

I'm already out of debt. Have monthly savings rate in the sweet spot we generally strive for.

I read extensively on finances.

Just curious what I would get from this that I don't already know and if its worth $12.

No.

If you already understand the premise "Your money is equal to your life energy, and should be treated as such" then there is little extra to learn from the book. It is incredibly important for how it has affected, and spawned in many ways, a lot of ER community, but as you are here on the MMM forums and are already debt free, no, it's not that great of a read.

This.  Owning a copy isn't necessary.

Once you've read it, there's a good summary thread that has excel files for all the exercises that will be helpful for you.

THanks for the feedback.  I'll redeploy the $12 elsewhere.

I've heard that you can use it to get $0.40/year, forever.
