I have a soon-to-be college graduate in my life, and I'd like to give her a different gift than I normally choose (I always give money). This time I am thinking of an Amazon gift card with a list of books I recommend (of course she can buy whatever she wants...I'm just suggesting some titles). I'd like to have at least five books but no more than 10 on the list.
The two books I absolutely want to include:
1. Simple Path to Wealth - J Collins
2. Getting Things Done - David Allen
The books I am thinking about including:
3a. The Artist's Way - Julia Cameron
3b. The War of Art - Steven Pressman
the graduate will be a nurse, not in any kind of creative field. But I'm not either and I found both of these books really meaningful.
The book I would like to include but haven't read
4. The Next Millionaire Next Door - Dr. Stanley. I read the original millionaire next door, but haven't read the updated version. I hate to recommend a book I haven't read.
And maybe...
5. Good to Great
6. anything by Brene' Brown
Here is my concern...If I made a really great list, it would cover all areas of life (like a great cooking book, and a great home maintenance book, happiness, fullfilment, decision-making, etc.). This list isn't that.
What book recommendations do you have for my list??
