Blog design questions

So I have a new blog, but it am not particularly savvy with it.  I want a nice header, and I see there are some free sources for headers.  Any one have any suggestions for good sites?

I can do HTML if that's all you need, I have a certificate in graphic design so I can make it look nice on top of that, haha.

By coincidence, today's WordPress Daily Post happens to cover free headers:

Their Daily Post and their "Zero To Hero" tutorials are a great way to get a blog on the right path.
