Hey So Close:  Congrats on your recent FIRE!

Some fellow MMM'ers started Travelmiles101.com[/b]]Travelmiles101.com - which offers a travel point course.
I use the 'Resources' (best card offers, etc) on frequentmiler.boardingarea.com[/b]]frequentmiler.boardingarea.com

Keep in mind that 'manufactured spend' is somewhat of a whack-a-mole game:  as soon as a scheme that 'works' comes along, and people start to actually USE it, they shut the program down (look up the history of the "Target Prepaid Redbird card" - a great program while it lasted).  Lather, rinse, repeat.  But it can work well as part of an overall FIRE plan.  For example:   I just booked two (2x) vacations for $10 cash out of pocket - July to San Diego, and Dec to Hawaii.  The balance is from hotel points, and airline points from credit card spend.

I enjoyed the Travel Miles 101 course.  Lots of good information there.
