Best Recipe for Bevertails

A friend of mine is interested in making Bevertails, and wants a good, authentic recipe. Since there are many Canadians here, I thought I might be able to get such a recipe.

Please tell me your favourite recipe.

Can't help you with beaver tails, but I would make toutons instead, so much better.
