Title: Auto liability policy - exclusions for emotional distress and mental anguish
Post by: azure975 on January 19, 2018, 07:59:19 PM
I recently received a notice from Nationwide stating a number of changes to my auto policy. One of these changes is that my liability insurance will no longer cover "emotional distress and mental anguish." I am concerned because if I am in an accident, someone can sue for PTSD or pain and suffering and it will not be covered by my insurance. I am shopping around to other carriers now but am wondering if anyone else has seen this or is concerned about this?
