P2P Car Sharing

Has anyone looked in the P2P Car Sharing sites as potential extra income?(RelayRides was largest near me). Set your own hourly/daily rates and availability for rental.

I've looked into it.  I took pictures of my car, started an account, etc.  I was very disapointed with how little you can make by 'renting out' your car.  Similar cars to my small Honda were able to be rented for $5/hr flat rate.  That probably doesn't even cover wear/tear on the car.
It ended up not being worth it for me, not to mention I didn't get a single bite about renting my car, which is surprising since I live near Chicago.

Yeah, I'm kind of afraid of doing that.  I've been the maintenance officer of a flying club and I've seen how much less people care about things they're only part owner of (nevermind just renting).  Also, with these scary drug laws on the books where they can seize property basically at will if someone has drugs on them...  No thanks, I'm not going to take any chances like that with my property.

I have my Tacoma listed on Relay Rides and no rentals yet. It is the only pickup available in my area and I priced it high. They only give you 60% of the rental rate.
