At home, tired and sick. Do you still make money?

Unfortunately got sick.  Fortunately with the new years holiday these are paid days off for me.  But thats not usually so convenient.

Anyone make money while sitting at home and resting?  What do you do?  I was reading up on another thread about blogging, and do have some extremely niche hobbies.

Take care of yourself so that you get better quickly and can hit the ground running when you go back to work.

Then work on being FI/RE.  Since I retired I haven't had a single day that I would have taken off "sick", but if I had then the money would have been rolling in regardless.

I recently started filling in online surveys on opinion outpost ....does not pay much but I made $28 in the last couple of weeks when I had a lot of time off over the holidays....better than nothing if you are just sitting around.....
Also, selling things on craigslist....easy to do when you are home sick.....

You could look around for deals like the $250 for signing up for checking from Chase or $500 for moving your IRA from one broker to another.

Time consuming items, but if you are sick and want to make money...

Well the craigslist/ebay stuff reminded me I have a stack of old computer parts.  Wiping hard drives now....  should be good for a few hundred bucks and an hour or so of easy work.

Depends on how sunny it is, but our solar panels make money most days.

This is what I thought the thread was about - getting to a point where you make money regardless of where you are or what you're doing.

On topic, I agree with deborah:

Just relax and get well.

You should do stuff to earn extra money because you enjoy that activity.  Not because you're sick and stuck at home.
