When I look at my performance for my mutual funds and it says, for example, a certain fund is getting 4% does that include income from dividends that are being reinvested? The fund in question does pay dividends and I am wondering if this taken into account in addition to the market performance.
This account is through T Rowe Price, in case that makes a difference. I am just wondering if I need to consider the added benefit of dividends when looking at my funds and trying to determine which ones are low performers or if this is already included in the calculation the company is doing.
Thanks!
