Anyone try out flexjobs?
« on: March 23, 2014, 08:53:40 PM »
Has anyone tried http://www.flexjobs.com/ for job hunting?  They charge $10 to $15 per month.  I'm a bit leery of paying to look for a job, but part-time telecommuting jobs are tough to come by, even if they are becoming more common.
Thanks!!

Do you mind answering a few questions?  Like what kind of work you were looking for and how long you used the site?
Thanks again!

My husband and I both found our work from home jobs through it. It was definitely worth the money.

No experience, but why not just try it?  They promise a refund if not satisfied and I doubt they'd go back on that, or could get away with it if you complained to your CC.

Thanks!  Do you mind sharing what field you are in?  Just trying to get a feel for what type of job seekers are most likely to find it useful.  I'm in IT (data warehousing and business intelligence).

Good point!  I didn't see the money back guarentee.  :-)

I purchased a one year membership a few months ago. Some interesting leads, but nothing has panned out so far (I only "applied" for 2 different things).

Before I purchased the membership I Googled for a discount and found some kind of discount code and saved like $15 or something, so if you haven't purchased a membership yet I'd try that.
