I did for a short time. My phone had died and I didn't really want to pay for one. I didn't have no phone. I had an old iPhone of a family member and used Google Voice on it. I also had great access to wifi at home and at work so I probably had phone access much of the day.
I did become horrible at responding to calls which really annoyed some family members and my Christmas present became an add-on line on their family plan for $10/month.
