I am currently looking for a new job, and have applied for a few positions in the mortgage industry. My current job is in economic development, so I do not have mortgage experience.
Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Are there certain questions I should ask during my interviews to determine if the team I'll work for is run well? How much money I can reasonably expect to make from commissions? Competition among loan officers working for the same company? Ease of finding new business?
