Ann Taylor $40 off $100. Plastic Jungle? Or Ebay? Or?

I got a "giftcard" from Ann Taylor for $40 off a $100 purchase between Feb 14th and March 14th.

I don't think a site meant for gift cards would take it, so is Ebay my best bet?  I've just never sold anything on ebay so I'm not sure of the procedure.  Or is it probably not worth it?  And no, per the terms, I can't just use it to buy a gift card and then sell that.

This is a coupon, not a gift card.

It only take a couple minutes to post an item on eBay. Why not slap it up there and see if someone will give you a couple bucks for it?

Ebay, but you will not get much.  Maybe just give it to a coworker who "just loves ann taylor OMG"

Ebay has fees.  I'd try Craigslist for free.

Or, how close is the Ann Taylor store?  Maybe you could run by there and offer to sell it to someone for "half price" right outside the door?

Yeah, I'll probably try craigslist.  Although ebay would be nice if I didn't even have to mail something since I can just email them the code whereas a craigslist person will probably want to meet up.  If there aren't any takers I can always offer it for free on facebook; don't think any of my coworkers are ann taylor types.

Turns out I know some Ann Taylor fans on facebook so I gave it to one of them.  Got some comps for an opera she was playing in, good deal.

Btw, for any mustachian ladies (or gentlemen) interested in Ann Taylor, there's a sale on the website right now until 10am for $50 off a $100 purchase.  Good deal if you already have something in mind that you want.
