Has anyone figured out the most cost efficient deal on foodsaver rolls (e.g. for vacuum sealing)?

It varies. Sometimes Amazon, sometimes Foodsaver's own website. They periodically have some pretty good stock up sales (like right now). .

To save on usage (and washing) I tend to freeze things individually (chops, patties, etc.) and then vacuum seal them in a big bag.  Pull out what I need each time and just vacuum the rest back up.
