You need to decide what you want to change and identify your true motivations:
A))are you complaining to your grand boss, because you might lose clients?
In that case, do not tattle. Be awesome at your job, if it's that bad, the client will walk and make their own complaints. (where there is smoke, there is fire) but you running to his boss makes you look like a whiner/tattler.
have you ever sat down with your boss and to his face told him you think he is miss managing clients?
complaints about him, to his boss, will come back to him, and you. Have you thought about a real adult conversation in which you said: Hey, I notice that our client interaction isn't going well, let's change tactic.
B))is it the fact that you don't like that you do not look like a superstar ( you had a flow chart, and your boss didn't give you credit for having it)
you need to adjust your expectations, or just leave. this is not a complaint worth talking to your bosses boss about. I have read you other thread. I gave the same advice.
are you showing up with complaints or solutions?
managers do not like people who go whining about fake problems. and right now that is all I am hearing
so decide what you want the end game to look like.
