Short Term Living Arrangements in Houston, TX
« on: December 11, 2018, 03:09:05 PM »
Hey everyone,

I am accepting an internship for the summer in Houston and looking for places to live for a little over two months. I will be working downtown near the Astros stadium and was looking for some advice on how to:
1) avoid an extremely long commute and being a car clown
2) save the most money possible while living in an enjoyable and safe part of town

If some Houston folks could provide some advice that would be great! I am currently looking at corporate housing or long-term Airbnb options if that helps.

Stay away from the 3rd ward. Source - personal experience (went to University of Houston for a few years)

Budget? I’ve lived in Houston a few times for work. There’s different options. If your hoping for cheap on short term your best bet would be renting a room on an Airbnb probably. Some RV parks have rentals you could ask about as well.

I was thinking about $2,000 for the two months.
