I'm currently living in HK but property here is VERY expensive, and as such ( as well as the fact I'm more comfortable with the respective markets) I'm looking to buy a rental property in NZ/ Australia. I can get an HSBC loan in HKD at a rate of 3.5%, but I'm concerned about my exposure to HKD/NZD exchange rate. Anyone have any thoughts on cheap hedges/ experience?
