Title: A safe, but not too comfortable, cushion
Post by: captaincarrajous on March 07, 2017, 05:48:56 PM
Hello New Friends -  I have been experiencing an almost non-stop 'come to jesus' moment since discovering MMM... yesterday.  I have an awful amount of debt, but I am attacking it and will kill it asap.  My question for anyone who cares to answer:

Since I have zero savings - What's an effective cushion?  I'm finally able to live in un hand to mouth fashion and want to destroy my debt. Have others who've already climbed out of holes found a good cushion 1 month/2 month, etc?  I feel I have a formula that works for me - just looking for some outside perspectives on this.  thanks!

Welcome to the forums!

This is a pretty individualized question, it depends on your assets, your job stability, your access to credit.

I'd suggest going all in and posting a case study. You'll be overwhelmed with advice and insights :)
