Title: 4% SWR, what's left over???
Post by: Holyoak on August 29, 2014, 03:35:15 PM
Maybe I missed it, but does anyone have a calculator that does more than simply tell you your "good" for 4% SWR over 30 years with what you have invested at that time?...  Really would like to see how much/what if anything is left at different percentages using different time spans, conditions (bond/stock percentages), etc.  I saw one at USAA.com, but it was pretty cumbersome and not easy to use.

Thank you MMM folks!

There's a crowd-sourced retirement simulator which popular on these forums here

http://www.cfiresim.com/

It outputs a graph with many lines which show the entire 30 years including the starting and ending values.
