Title: 2009 Elantra Touring
Post by: SemiFruggal on May 09, 2015, 07:59:22 AM
I'm considering buying a used 2009 Elantra Touring.  Consumer Reports lists the 2010 and 2011 models as cars to avoid because of reliability issues.  The 2009 is neither listed as desirable nor as a car to avoid, and I can't seem to find out whether the omissions are due to a lack of available data, whether the car is considered mediocre, or something else.  I'm going to checkout Phil Edmonston's book to see what it says, but am wondering what anyone's experience or knowledge might be.
