Sounds like a near perfect existence.  I'd stick it out another two years.  You really already have everything you need/want.

As for moving after reaching FIRE... I'd tread cautiously.  You are close to family, and family nearby is something I value tremendously.  Also, if/when you have kid(s), family becomes even more important (one, for support, but also, two for having the child connected to their relatives).

However, it does sound like you are itching for a change.  I'd say, reach FIRE, then plan an awesome traveling adventure.

A lot of this comes down to how much you value your family. Would you be fine seeing them once, twice a year?

You don't list your food and misc spending, but your other expenses seem normal for NJ.

I would explore other job markets. If one of you gets an offer, you can easily live on one salary indefinitely. Have you visited these other places? My wife and I hope to visit a few potential retirement areas over the next decade. I don't know if I could move somewhere without ever visiting.

Probably not worth renting your condo out based on the numbers, and you don't want to be a landlord anyways (based on your post).
