So please to spend $1500 on this one filled with water.

And they're back ordered 90 days!

I don't have a hammock. Or a hot tub. But this does look kind of fun :) But not $1500 worth of fun!

I concur that it looks kinda fun.  1500$ is a tad steep . . . but I'd think of it more as a portable hot tub than a replacement for a hammock.

I think he needs to market as a portable hot tub instead of a water holding hammock.  If you get people thinking that way, $1500 does not sound bad at all.

Two chicks and a dude in a there eating chocolate strawberries was pretty good marketing though.

75 lbs without the propane and water so choose your supporting objects carefully. Don't want to pull down a porch post.

This seems like just another thing that looks awesome, but will end up being used only a few times before it collects dust in the closet.

Yeah. Portable doesn't really cover it.  I like the pretentious reviews on their site, though.

More interesting ways to end up in the burn unit! Yay! Can't wait to debride those fools.

I have owned way too many things that fit this description (including an actual hammock, used once), before I realized and stopped buying them.
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.

Around here a hammock just makes a person a non-moving target for the mosquitoes. A screened in porch with a hammock is where its at. Someday...

I still regret buying a waffle maker, it costs a whole $14, but just the fact that it has barely been used makes me feel shame.

I could see the draw for a business having one - like maybe a Bed 'n Breakfast or a resort?

Yes, you *ought* to feel ashamed.  You are depriving yourself of one of life's great pleasures!  Especially topped with ice cream and strawberries....yum!

Hot tubs are like big bowls of body stew...this is even worse.  I'll pass.

I suppose, my problem is that I either am still half-asleep when making breakfast, or I've slept in until noon (something I do on Sundays with zero feelings of shame).

It's never too late to have waffles, plus pancakes and waffles are super cheap eats!

True! Do you guys make them from scratch or buy a mix?

I just buy the mix. I have been using Krusteaz mix, in a 10lb bag. I think it costs 6 or 7 dollars. I store it in a airtight container.

Mix makes it easy - just add water. Making pancakes/waffles is a bit of a mess though.

We use Bisquick, although we've done it from scratch at times as well.
