Shopping on Craigslist
« on: May 24, 2014, 07:44:21 PM »
I need a facepunch for this one. I caught myself shopping on Craigslist today. It's the end of May and students in the area are often desperate to dump practically new furniture. So I decide that I "need" some wire shelving for our new place... except that I have wire shelving in the basement of my old place (currently rented out). Not only that, they are being used in the old place to store stuff I haven't looked at in over a year. So, I need to get off my lazy butt and sell/donate the old stuff and bring those wire shelves over.

I don't think you deserve a facepunch for shopping on CL.

Going to Target and buying a bunch of crap to store crap you don't need... maybe. :)

I went over to my old place and cleaned out one of the shelves and brought home a bunch of things that I will be selling on Craigslist soon. Kitchen looks much neater with the new (old) wire shelving.

it's not going to Target that's the issue

OP, good job getting off your ass and doing it, this is the kind of thing I'll get stuck on for weeks ;-)

+1...I'll also spend weeks going "oh I should do this" and then proceed to not do it

Nice work

Haha, thanks. I probably would have procrastinated if I hadn't typed up the post. By that point it just felt stupid not to just go over and get it done.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does this.  ;-)
