Bragging About Having No Money! Seriously.

I had the misfortune of spending time with an incredibly obnoxious person recently.  She actually bragged about how she couldn't afford to buy something because she put down 20% on her $400k home and 20% on her $80k Tesla.  I was so confused.  Congratulations, you owe several creditors so much money you can't afford anything?

She also fancies herself super environmentally friendly, as she and her husband have a 3200 square foot house that they've painted with no VOC paint.  Oh and they also have one of the Teslas that costs $80k. I had to bite my tongue so hard I almost hurt myself.  Luckily I'll never have to see her again!

HA true.  It really does burn! 

The "environmentalist" stuff was really the worst.  She went on and on about being green and then bragged about her giant house.  I live in a 750 sq ft house and have no car, so if we were having an environmentalist contest I think I'd win. :P And I don't even identify as being "green," I just hate having a car and prefer living in a smaller place in the city. The green stuff is a bonus!
