Warren Brown wrote about a new SUV. The title said how buying this car would save you money. Really? I thought NOT buying a car saved money.

Brown writes that a Ranger SUV would cost $60-70K. If you instead purchase the one Brown is reviewing, you would "save" $35K.

$35K??!!??!!

Or, I could just not buy it at all and retire a lot earlier!

I looked again, and it's there. There must have been a delay between when it showed up in print and when it got added to the website:
