Title: Spirit Airlines likes gambling with money you don't have yet.
Post by: nawhite on April 10, 2017, 09:36:43 AM
I just got this email from Spirit Airlines. I'm on their deal alerts email list, but after this, I think I'm going to unsubscribe:

"Feeling Flush?
You get until the 18th to do your taxes this year. That means you can spend this weekend in Vegas, using the refund you haven't received yet as table stakes in a poker tournament! If that sounds like a great plan to you, you're our kind of traveler. We love spontaneous, go-for-it fliers who know they can jump on a Spirit plane at a moment's notice. With a little luck, you could win back everything you had to pay Uncle Sam this year. You never know until you fly."

There is just so much wrong here!!!

Spirit's marketing emails are always pretty funny! Take it lightly, because judging from everything else they send out, they do.

flying spirit is a gamble if your flight will be on time, ever happen, or you'll die at some point during the horrendous travel the provide. I will walk or not go before I fly them ever again.

SO long as they aren't beating their customers they are better than some airlines.

+1

At least as a paying customer you'll get to your destination...
