Slightly off topic but why is CAR ENVY in quotations? Italicizing it would have been fine IMO; I think the general population would understand what the sender is trying to say without them.

Advertising is aimed at convincing us that what we already have is inadequate, and it is very easy to fall victim. I was walking by the Audi dealership recently and couldn't help admire what was on display. But then I drove my 1998 Ford Ranger down to the DMV for its inspection, and it passed, no problem. I joked with the guy who checked it out that I didn't know how much longer it would go, and he said "you've got a nice truck here...it'll go a long time." Then he told me that I qualified for an "antique car" registration since Ford has discontinued the model and it is over 15 years old. Registration will only be $50 a year from now on, and no more inspections! Sweet!

The ad could have saved space and just said "You suck because you don't own one of these." "Also, your friends think you're a wuss." But that would also be the ad for nearly every other car manufacturer out there.
