One time when I was not an MMMer, I looked up Frugal advice online.
One tip that stuck with us is, "Instead of buying 100 pounds of steak for your frequent neighborhood backyard BBQs, buy 100 pounds of ground beef. This will save you $5000+"
I may have gotten the numbers wrong on that tip. Point is, we already bought neither. Most of the comments below were like, "Dude, no one who is looking at this article is buying steak."
Ever since, weve started claiming that we'd "saved $5000" not buying steak or some other amount of money for an object that we also weren't buying. Very long recurring joke at this point.
