Title: Silly Mercedes SUV ad on Pandora
Post by: COguy on September 20, 2012, 01:54:56 PM
I just listened to an ad on Pandora targeted at stay at home moms who have spend "busy" days buying groceries and taking kids to soccer practice, etc.  It is suggested that they get a large Mercedes SUV to help with this problem (I don't know how that helps).  It ended with the line (paraphrased obviously)  like: Families spend a lot of time in their cars, so it will be made better by buying this large SUV.

I tried to search for this ad on the interwebs, but I couldn't find it.  I could just hear MMM tearing this ad apart in my head and punching them in the face for not riding bikes or at least getting a more efficient car and cutting down on silly errands through good planning and more in sourcing.

Anyway, sorry for the crappy summary above, I just wanted to share this since I always love to see how car advertisers try to convince people to buy brand new large expensive cars and there is no one in my immediate vicinity to do so with.
