Someone THAT old just NOW realizing the house always wins???  SERIOUSLY??  You think if you just throw more money at the Casino you'll eventually get it back?

Have to wonder how much he spent on those tattoos.  Nothing like paying money to display your inner idiot.

For shits and grins, I just googled what a kinect costs.  Looks like one could get a full X-Box 360 with kinect for $300 or so new, or just the device for about $100.

If this guy had 2 working brain cells (which this story clearly indicates, he doesn't), one would have figured he would have stopped at, say, mmmmm....$50, and then just went and bought the damn stupid toy.

Money quote:
Quote
The 30-year-old from Epsom says he kept trying to win back his money by going double or nothing. He dropped $300 in just a few minutes, then says he went home to get $2,300 more and soon lost all of that as well.

This is kind of like the guy who calls the police saying someone robbed him of his drugs... at least when I do something cringe worthy I don't cause the news outlets.

I like the idea of his life savings sitting in his house in a coffee tin for some reason.

I find the picture of him and the banana on the stroller with the baby painfully sad.
